Managing Partner | Senior Consultant

Michael Jagmohan (1980) is the owner and manager of MKJC. He built his own team, and his main focus is on delivering services from the cloud. As a consultant, he creates comprehensive concepts for companies looking to cut costs and increase efficiency. At MKJC he is responsible, among other things, for project management during overhauls of technical infrastructure. Previously, Mr Jagmohan worked in direct customer support in the IT and telecommunications sector at Siemens.

Project Manager | Network and Voice Architecture

Tobias Jagmohan (1986) has been with MKJC since 2005. As Project Manager, he is responsible for designing and integrating cloud applications and, in the area of network and voice architecture, for implementing multi-site networking. Tobias Jagmohan previously gained experience as an intern at Continental in data analysis and the processing of component measurements. He completed his studies in business informatics with a Bachelor of Science degree.

What IT system house services does an SME really need?

Most SMEs don't need exotic solutions, but reliable basics: stable infrastructure, secure data backup, functional IT support, and a proper Microsoft 365 environment. Anything beyond that depends on the industry.

At what company size does an IT system house become worthwhile?

From about 10 employees, IT support from an external partner usually becomes more cost-effective than internal solutions. Below that, cloud tools are often sufficient. From 25–50 employees, a dedicated IT partner is generally indispensable.

What is the difference between an IT system house and a Managed Service Provider?

A classic IT system house is reactive – it intervenes when something breaks. A Managed Service Provider (MSP) acts proactively and continuously monitors systems. Many modern system houses now offer both.

Can an IT system house also handle cloud migration?

Yes, most established system houses fully support cloud migrations – from planning and data migration to ongoing operations. It is important that the provider has proven experience with your target platform (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

What contract models do IT system houses offer?

The three most common models are: on-demand (billed by effort), retainer agreement (fixed monthly hour contingent), and managed service (flat rate for defined services). The latter offers the best predictability for both parties.
